A beautiful mountain home

Staying at his beautiful mountain home was such a relaxing, wonderful experience. It's clean and spacious and also feels warm and cozy. The mountain cabin decor is charming and inviting. We woke up feeling great after sleeping in the beds that are very comfortable. Stores and activities are easily accessible. We will definitely stay there again!
Wonderful Mountain Home - Perfect for our Family Gathering

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, well appointed home. It was comfortable throughout and we thoroughly enjoyed the King bed! All of the bedrooms were much larger than typical so there was plenty of room for everyone and no one was required to draw the short straw. The large dining room table was perfect for our large group - both for meals and games. We were amazed at how close we were to a multitude of entertainment options - ranging from lounging on the deck to golf courses, fine dining, tennis, a swimming pool and even a picnic spot located in the forest between between two mountain streams. The summer days were warm and the evenings were pleasantly cool. At first we thought - let's go in the winter and enjoy the numerous nearby ski hills. Now we have concluded - we need to go back in the winter, and maybe again in the summer! Arrangements were easy and the owners were very accommodating. Everything was "as advertised" and exactly as you would expect in a modern, well appointed home.

Our family stayed at this lovely mountain home this summer. It is spacious and beautiful at the same time it's homey and warm. All of the listings are accurate and the home is immaculately decorated and clean! There are so many activities in the area to do, we didn't begin to experience all the possibilities. (Use the guide available in the living room.) There's parasailing (I definitely want to go back for that!), swimming, skiing (water AND snow), shopping, museums, entertainment and, of course, relaxing around the fire with a nice meal and conversation. We enjoyed the Thursday evening street party in Truckee, the Donner museum, lunching lakeside, visiting the historic homes, attending a magic performance and gathering in the dining and living areas for a movie and chatter. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this lovely home and area!
Good beds almost new with colorful sheets not sterile white. Linens match the decor, a very homey feel.
Great location for golf. Coyote Moon was a challenging course, very hilly with narrow fairways, but among the most beautiful in the world that I have played. Tahoe Donner course was more relaxing and fun. We would definitely return to this property!
Loved the rocking chairs with great views and quietude. Glad the linens were all provided.
Terrific open feeling; kitchen has everything not just rental minimums; easy access to barbecue grill. We'll definitely return again!
